Joining the team of volunteers is the easiest way to become part of our community! Below, you’ll read a detailed description of each section and what they’re responsible for. Please pay special attention to the dates; they will be important when filling out the form.

Willing hands to help will be needed in 8 sections:

(The given dates are indicators of when it would be ideal to undertake a given mission. If you have a lot of time, we welcome you from May 15th onwards! If you don’t have time before the festival, perhaps you can stay afterwards to help us restore the area to its natural beauty?

1. Builders – we are responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure necessary for the festival’s setup, smooth operation, and enjoyable experience. We build stages and decorations, set up large tents, create platforms, provide electricity and water where needed, and this year, we’re even building an ecological greywater filtration system. We drive, we cut, we hammer, we screw, we separate, we move, we assemble, and we have a great time doing it. We’re the ones who start working on the festival, and the demand for our actions begins three weeks before the festival! We expect to arrive in 4 stages.

  • The second half of May – in an ideal world, part of the department would already arrive by the second half of May! After the preliminary work, they can go home and return at the end of June for the festival :D
  • 3 weeks before the festival (June 5, 2024)
  • 2 weeks before the festival  (12.06.2024)
  • 1 weeks before the festival (19.06.2024)

3. Cleaners – these are the good guardian spirits of the festival. They ensure the cleanliness and tranquility of the natural space in which we will celebrate this shared time. From waste sorting to responding to the needs of the space or   providing assistance. They are always where they are needed at any given moment, even when they are not visible!  The cleaners come to help in shifts: three days before the festival (June 5, 2023) and the day before the festival (June 7, 2023).

4. Gatekeepers – well-organized individuals who enjoy putting on wristbands, greeting with a smile while checking tickets, and saying “keep going straight all the time”. The gatekeepers are ready at the gate the day before the festival (June 26, 2024).

5. The cooks – assistance in the kitchen space involves sorting, cleaning, and chopping vegetables, which we will then compose into wonderful dishes together. The serving of dishes that will land on our guests’ plates will bring a lot of satisfaction because from our hands will come plenty of portions of Ital food. Thanks to us, the entire FRUŃ organization and the rest of the volunteer departments will have the energy to put their 100% into this festival.

  • This year we are looking for a Head Chef (or 2 on rotation) who can start as early as 6 weeks before the festival! Cooking for several first volunteers during the initial month (or 2 weeks in the case of 2 chefs) will be enough to then have time off and arrive as a participant at the festival ???? (15.05.2024 – 12.06.2024)
  • Apart from that, we will need a looot more people in the kitchen, the sooner the better! If you want to take on this mission, specify your availability dates in the form!

6. Hermeses – tireless, fast-running messengers with perfect memory and flawless orientation in the area, circulating among people and racking up miles while carrying out various missions. They arrive at the venue in two shifts: 

  • 1 week before festival(19.06.2024) 
  • 1 day before festival 26.06.2024

7. Special Forces – the right hands of the organizers, providing them with support. Experienced in dealing with artists, technicians, sound engineers, specialists in delicate and paperwork tasks, masters of trade and management, as well as true and perseverant experts in photography and video. Specialists in one field as well as broadly talented individuals, helping during the festival in extinguishing all kinds of fires. The golden person and the savior of the organizers. They appear on the premises depending on the individual demand for their superpowers.

8. Quartermasters – caretakers of equipment. Proficient in distinguishing and naming tools, with a knack for recording and remembering who gave what to whom and when! They spend most of the day issuing tools and browsing OLX in search of necessary materials. :D We need them the most: 

  • 3 weeks before the festival (June 5, 2024)
  • 2 weeks before the festival  (12.06.2024)
