Preserving Flora Biodiversity: Threats and Protection. What Can We Do to Enjoy the Beauty of Native Flora? – Adrian Gałązka
In this lecture, we will explore issues related to ecology and the protection of native flora biodiversity. We will learn what alien and invasive species are and how to prevent their spread. We will understand the threats from excessive interference in natural habitats and discover practical methods to protect our native flora and maintain its biodiversity. We will also learn which species are currently protected in Poland and the methods for active habitat protection. Each participant will take part in a field walk to learn to recognize alien and invasive species that compete with our native flora, and learn how to practically use and process these species.

Deep Ecology Workshop Ritual of Reconnection with Mother Earth – Patrycja Stukator, CZUJĘ LAS
During this session, we will feel our bodies as part of the Earth. Our skin will become the surface of the ocean, and the grass will connect with our hair. We will travel back to the times when the first organisms and beings began to live and coexist. We will remember what it is like to be a cell, a fish, a reptile, a tree, the first mammal – we will awaken our ecological consciousness. Deep meditation combined with body movement will help us feel our strong relationship with every living being on this planet.
__________
Creating Analog Collages from Waste Paper – Hanna Czupajło
Collage has been a form of art that has accompanied me for years. It is a medium where everyone can express themselves, with no limits and never boring. By processing and combining what already exists in a fresh way, we achieve unexpected meanings and quality. By juxtaposing seemingly mismatched elements, we create a previously non-existent sense, giving combined parts a new dimension. Analog collage is particularly close to my heart because it allows us to use already produced materials and create something beautiful and lively from something forgotten and dusty.
All necessary materials will be available on site. If you have any of your own that you want to use (old photos, albums, magazines, graphics) – feel free to bring them!
__________
Touching Death: A Different Perspective on Ladybugs – Paweł Jaszczuk
The ladybug is a brutal and ruthless predator that tears its victims apart and devours them. The red forest ant eats the offspring of other animals. The amoeba surrounds its victims with its body and digests them while they are still alive. This is happening around us. Nature is a continuous cycle of life and death, creation and decay. Often brutal, ruthless, and disgusting by human standards. Why is it so difficult for us to watch wolves devour young or sick deer? Why do we only see “flowers and butterflies” and not what lies “under the leaf”? I invite you to a lecture on the “dark side of Nature” and a discussion on why we fail to notice it.
__________
Saving Kadam: Rescuing the Forest in Uganda – Bartek Zobek
Learn how Bartek decided to save the forest in Uganda by marking trails similar to those of PTTK and developing sustainable tourism. Did it work? You will hear not only about exotic adventures and curiosities about indigenous tribes but also see breathtaking photos.

Creative Clothes Upcycling – Magdalena Kosiewicz
I invite you to a workshop on creatively upcycling clothes. We will start by selecting clothes that you can buy on-site or bring your own if you wish. :) e will talk about the colors you like to make our lives more colorful. You will understand how extensive their range is and how they can be your good friends. We will open our hearts to the colors you feel, even if you don’t know it yet. Feel the shade of your love to start working in the space of your creativity. Transfer all this to creating a beautiful garment and be grateful for the progress of your inner growth. After finishing, show your work and tell us what inspired you. Don’t forget to bring a good mood with you. :) See you in the space of colors.

“May My Children Have Only Slightly Worse Than Me” – To Be or Not to Be a Parent in the Age of Climate Change – Julia Starościc
How much does POPULATION GROWTH really impact the environment and CLIMATE? Is ANTINATALISM just a trend? hat do young PARENTS feel when thinking about their children’s future in the context of the climate crisis?
I invite you to a discussion filled with empathy and understanding on topics considered controversial. We will look for the most ethical attitudes in the context of both parenthood and non-parenthood. We will openly discuss our visions of the FUTURE and try to newly name the EMOTIONS related to the Earth and the loss of the “natural.”
Who is this meeting for?
For you, if you have children, plan to have them, or care about the climate. Also, for you if you don’t want to have children, or if you feel you are too young to think about having children. Regardless of your approach to starting a family, you are welcome.
__________
How to Become a Planet Hero – Monika Habrzyk and Karolina Gurgul
A lecture on the issue of littering, presenting the Planet Heroes platform as a tool to support ecological actions, introducing the newly created Let’s Do It! application for showcasing positive ecological actions.

Aquatic Warbler, Smartphone, and a Carton of Milk – Paweł Jaszczuk
Progress is an inseparable part of our civilization. Consumption is closely linked to progress and us as humans. We are increasingly exploiting Nature. The Earth does not have infinite resources. Technological progress requires new elements, the extraction of which destroys the environment differently than before. Is there a chance for us as Humanity, or will “smartphones” complete the process of “killing the Planet” started by the “steam engine”? Where is nature conservation in all this? I invite you to a lecture on the threats associated with progress and a discussion on whether there is a chance to find a balance between consumption and nature conservation.
