Values
Since the first edition of FRUŃ, we have been gaining increasing clarity about the values that guide our actions. They come straight from the heart and are our top priority. FRUŃ is based on 4 pillars:
1. The Art – The festival is a space for expression, creation, and creativity. This includes music, performances, handicrafts, and art installations. Volunteers involved in these areas will have the opportunity to work with artists and ensure that the visual and auditory aspects of the festival are of the highest quality!
2. Ecology – Every action we take aims to have the smallest possible carbon footprint. All waste generated during the festival is carefully sorted to recover everything that can be recycled. We recognize that Mother Earth is unique, and we aim to take care of her as best as we can! The work of the Clean-Up Team is invaluable in this regard!
3. Mental Health Care – To be able to care for the planet and create a beautiful future, we need to feel good in our own skin, mind, and soul! Our community emphasizes education and practices that help maintain inner harmony.
4. Community – Fruń is created by people – for people! t is a meeting place, a space where we create one big community and together create something wonderful. While we all have different skills and responsibilities, we are all equal. We invite you with open arms to help us create a world based on shared values, a magical space full of love, kindness, joy, and smiles that fosters positive change.
The entire event is the result of the collaboration of maaaany individuals! Some of us work almost all year round, planning and preparing, some join a few months before, but most of the hands-on-deck join in the final weeks before the start. It’s wonderful that you want to become part of this space and contribute something of your own! Let’s meet together to spread happiness and the light of smiles. Let’s support each other in development and self-expression.
